Warranty Guide

The manufacturer's warranty that comes with your watch defines the length of time the warranty is valid for, the types of problems that are covered under the warranty and the types of problems that are not covered under warranty. Most warranties cover similar faults and exclude similar issues. The below guide can help you understand what may and may not be covered by your warranty. Please note, this is a guide only. You must read the specific manufacturer's warranty that came with your watch to understand what it does and does not cover. Select the relevant brand of watch to view it's international warranty:

Covered Under Warranty

Your warranty guarantees that your watch is fit for purpose, free from manufacturing faults and working as expected. Faults with the movement, hands, dial, battery and all internal parts that are not the result from external impact or misuse are usually covered.

Not Covered Under Warranty

Normal wear and tear on the case, band, glass, crown, pushers, buckle and plating is not covered under warranty. Water damage is not covered under warranty when a watch has been exposed to conditions that are outside of that watch's designated water resistance rating. Any issue that is a result of external impact will not be covered under warranty. Any issue that is caused by failing to follow instructions found in the relevant manual will not be covered under warranty.

Your Consumer Rights

Australian consumer law protects customers by ensuring that goods sold are fit for purpose and as advertised. Where a product is not fit for purpose or as advertised, you are entitled to a reasonable and appropriate remedy. The remedy depends on the type of issue, the severity of the issue, the time that has passed since purchase and other factors. Remedies can include a refund, replacement or repair. Most issues are resolved with a repair, but every situation is looked at on a case-by-case basis.
